New DCU advertisement in NY!
Justice League #1:
The issue starts off with Batman & Green Lantern doing the JLA’s version of a buddy cop tv show. Batman running from the popo’s (nothing new here.), and chasing what looks to be a robotic Killer Croc. Robocroc speeds away and Green Lantern starts a light show for Batman. The Dark Knight doesn’t like glowsticks and tells Hal to turn off the light. Hal is cocky as can be, and why not he’s the god damn Green Lantern. Batman and Hal start their first date by investigating some extraterrestrial activity in Gotham. They follow the alien creature into the sewer, Hal being the fun loving he is alerts the creature to their presence. The creature fire jizzes over the duo, but of course Hal hides them in a construct. Thinking that it was a bomb, they discover a weird alien box. Longtime comic readers know what this is but I won’t spoil it for you just yet. This issue is set five years in the past and is the starting point on how all our beloved heroes meet. I got a kick out of Batman pretending like he knew it all. There’s a good panel in which Hal is amazed that Bruce is just a man in suit. The “Swagtastic duo” eventually go on a search for the alien called Superman. We get to meet a young Vic Stone the Mike Vick of metropolis football. After dominating he calls his M.I.A. Dad, sad that he didn’t come to his game. Green Lantern and Batman arrive in Metropolis on their search for Superman. Hal tells Bruce “Green Lantern can handle this!” and of course gets the shit knocked out of by the Man of Steel. Next issue Batman vs Superman!

I’m sad Brink received “mixed” reviews because of its repetitive gameplay. I’m off to have a unique and dynamic experience playing Call of Duty: Black Ops… oh wait…

I think of course this is an evil version of Bruce, these are the Bat Knights from kingdom come which is awesome, but I fear evil Brucey is going to have them real havoc.dcu:
THIS Batman Inc. preview gets me very excited for where this series is headed. Can not wait to read the issue this Wednesday…
Ohh didn’t he learn ANYTHING from the whole OMACS thing? Sheesh.
Omacs were cyborgs that went nuts because of the influence of Brother Eye… These are robots.
Oh yeah, that’s better, because we know nothing EVER goes wrong with robots! LOL
Hahaha, well obviously there’s an off switch somewhere. They’re machines. Cyborgs have a mind of their own because they’re part biological, also like I said, Brother Eye was controlling them. Besides, Omacs were not Bruce’s invention. These, however, he had a hand in manufacturing. Shouldn’t we give a little more credit to Batman 1?
